Big congratulations to Wild Dog athlete Joe, who recently completed the Pinellas Trail 46 Miler — his longest distance to date and a major milestone on his journey to 100 miles. 🐕🔥
This was Joe’s second ultra of the year, following his first 50K since pre-pandemic, which he finished in under 7 hours on a hot, sandy, no-joke Florida course.
Joe is the kind of athlete who leads with composure, patience, and purpose — even when the heat is brutal and the miles get long. His quiet discipline and willingness to be uncomfortable are exactly what endurance training demands, and his steady progress is a reflection of that mindset.
Together, we’ve been following a long-term ultra marathon training approach that blends high-mileage prep with consistent strength training for runners, strategic rest, and pacing practice.
It’s not about cranking volume. It’s about building durability — and staying in it for the long haul.
Joe’s got his sights set on 100 miles, and we’re just getting started. So proud to be on this journey with him.
