FAQS

Have Questions?

Which running program is right for me?
"Plus" icon.

Each of our coaching tiers varies by how often you want feedback, plan adjustments, and communication throughout the month — weekly, biweekly, or monthly. If you’re a beginner runner, we recommend more frequent communication to support your learning, build confidence, and stay accountable. Experienced runners who already have a solid base, understand pacing, and know how to manage their own recovery might prefer less frequent check-ins.

Still not sure? Schedule your free strategy call and we’ll help you find the right plan for your goals, experience, and training style.

How does remote running coaching work?
"Plus" icon.

After your initial consult, Coach Abby builds a personalized plan based on your running goals, experience, injury history, lifestyle, and available training time. Every detail matters — including your current gear, training environment, and preferences.

The first week of your plan comes with daily check-ins (regardless of your tier) to help you start strong, ask questions, and learn the system. From there, your level of support depends on your plan — but you’ll always have access to video demos, voice messages, training feedback, and plan adjustments as needed.

At the end of every 4-week cycle, you’ll have a scheduled check-in (video or phone) to review progress and plan the next block.

Can I train from home or my local gym?
"Plus" icon.

Yes — that’s the beauty of remote coaching. Your plan is built around your schedule and location, whether that means lifting in your garage gym, running trails before work, or squeezing in strength sessions at a commercial gym.

If you're just starting to build out a home gym, we’ll guide you on what equipment will be most useful for strength training for runners, based on your goals and budget.

Can you help me train for a marathon?
"Plus" icon.

Absolutely. We coach runners training for everything from a 5K to a 100-miler — road, trail, and everything in between.

Whether you’re chasing a PR, tackling a distance for the first time, or running just for personal growth (not racing), you’ll receive a plan that supports your endurance, strength, and mindset.

We also include strength work in every program to help runners stay healthy, run more efficiently, and build the durability required for long-term progress.

I'm a beginner, where do I start?
"Plus" icon.

You already have — by asking the right questions.

Working with a coach early in your running journey sets you up for smart progress and long-term success. You’ll avoid burnout, confusion, and the common mistakes many beginners make.

The next step? Schedule your free consult and let’s talk about your goals, your running history (even if you don’t have one yet), and how we can build a plan that works for you.
