Rock the Nock Run Fest 2026

The Rock the Nock Run Fest is your spring invitation to experience one of Pennsylvania’s most scenic running events — the only running event permitted in Nockamixon State Park. Choose from the 5K, 10K, or half-marathon (13.1 miles) distances and run on lush, paved trails around the lake — perfect for both competitive athletes and family fun.

Why You’ll Love Rock the Nock

  • Flexible Distance Options: Run 5K, 10K or a half-marathon — all in the same event.
  • Scenic Lake & Forest Setting: Closed-course loops inside the state park with stunning views and safe environment.
  • All Levels Welcome: Whether you’re looking for a PR or a fun spring run, this event fits your goals. Kids and families are encouraged.
  • Unique Venue: The only running event permitted in the park — for many, a fresh experience.

How to Prepare & Train

Although this event includes shorter distances, a smart race performance still requires planning. Surface is paved, but the setting invites strong posture, stride control, and good running mechanics — especially if you’re coming off trail training or less structured off-season running.

With my Marathon & Half Marathon Coaching program or 5K & 10K Training plan, you’ll get:

  • Personalized run workouts tailored to your distance and pace
  • Strength work focused on core, hips, and posture to make your finish feel smooth
  • Strategy for pacing, recovery and hitting race day feeling strong
