The Forgotten Florida 100 Mile is a point-to-point ultramarathon through some of the state’s most beautiful and rugged trails. You’ll run through Tosohatchee, Charles Bronson State Forest, Seminole Ranch, and Little Big Econ State Forest — areas even lifelong locals rarely get to see.
This is “old Florida” at its best: palm groves, pine flatwoods, and quiet singletrack filled with wildlife and big skies. The course is 80% trail, with only two miles of pavement, making it runnable, scenic, and deceptively tough.
Cutoffs: 34 hours (100M), 16 hours (50M).
Running 100 miles on Florida terrain is different from racing in the mountains — the challenge here is sustained runnable miles, mental toughness, and staying strong through long stretches of flat, exposed trail.
To succeed, you’ll need:
That’s where coaching makes the difference.
I’ve trained and raced ultras while living in Florida, and I know what it takes to prepare for long, flat, runnable miles. With Trail & Ultra Coaching and integrated Strength Training for Runners, we’ll build a plan that balances mileage, strength, and recovery so you’re ready for race day.
